Serums are usually reserved for targeted areas, like the face, BUT WHY BE LIMITED?!? This ALL-OVER Body Serum delivers all the best healthy skin benefits, AND leaves you smelling absolutely fabulous 😉
These have a 2 year shelf-life when properly stored. If the area you keep them in is on the colder side, they will thicken, but running under or soaking in some warm water will resolve that and not damage anything.
Blue Lotus
🪷 Moisturizes dry skin
🪷 Fights inflammation
🪷 Promotes smooth skin texture
🪷 Calms and soothes irritated skin
🪷 Balances oil production, which can help to prevent acne
🪷 Prevents free radical damage (due to its antioxidant content)
🪷 Boosts radiance
Due to its soothing properties, blue lotus flower is commonly found in products designed for those who are prone to redness or irritation. However, it can also be used for all skin types, as it helps to keep skin in a balanced state.
Whether your skin is on the oily side, dry, or somewhere in between, this ingredient can help to keep it in check. It's also great for year-round use, whether it be in the summer heat when your skin is producing more oil or in the winter when your skin needs an extra boost of moisture.
Plus, with pollution levels at an all-time high, using a product with blue lotus flowers can help to protect your skin against harmful free radicals. In turn, this can help to prevent dryness, darkness, wrinkling, and fine lines from developing. Overall, this ingredient is great for keeping skin smooth, hydrated, and radiant.
The Blue Lotus flower (Nymphaea caerulea) has become known as a "gem" in skincare due to its potential benefits and properties that contribute to healthier, more radiant skin.
🥑 Avocado Oil
Studies suggest the fatty acids and beta carotene in avocado oil may improve collagen synthesis, while antioxidants help neutralize free radicals that cause premature skin aging. These processes help smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other aging signs.
The hydrating and anti-inflammatory
properties of avocado oil help relieve
dry, flaky, and irritated skin. Studies
suggest it can be used as a long-term
treatment for psoriasis, and many skin
experts recommend it for eczema,
seborrheic dermatitis, and other dry skin issues.
🌻 Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil is a non-comedogenic carrier oil that is highly absorbent and won’t clog pores. It’s non-irritating for most people and can be used on all types of skin, including dry, normal, oily, and acne-prone.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that can help protect skin from free radicals and from adverse effects of the sun, such as premature aging and wrinkles. Using a skincare product formulated with sunflower oil is a good way to obtain vitamin E’s benefits for skin.
Linoleic acid helps to maintain the skin’s natural barrier, supporting its ability to retain moisture. It also has an anti-inflammatory effectTrusted Source when used topically. This makes it beneficial for dry skin and for conditions, such as eczema.
The linoleic acid in sunflower oil makes it effective for protecting skin against bacteria and germs. A study done in 2008 on premature infants in Bangladesh found that topical application of sunflower oil significantly reduced infant mortality caused by hospital-acquired infections, such as sepsis.
Jojoba Oil
Deeply-Hydrating.
It is lighter than other face oils and easily absorbed into skin. It deeply penetrates to soothe and soften while providing an excellent moisturizing effect and adding a healthy glow.
Long-Lasting Moisturization.
It doesn’t evaporate like water-based moisturizers, which is very important when your skin is exposed to the environment. Studies have shown that Jojoba Oil provides a substantial long-acting layer of moisture.
Nutritious for Skin.
Jojoba is full of nutrients like Vitamin E and B, as well as antioxidants and minerals like chromium, copper, and zinc, which all nourish and protect skin. Organic, cold-pressed, Jojoba Oil has the highest level of antioxidants and nutrients.
Because Jojoba Oil is very similar to human skin oils, its use can trick the skin into thinking it has produced enough oil and thus balance oil production without promoting acne or other skin problems. Jojoba also naturally deters microbes, helping to prevent the growth of bacteria on the skin.
Jojoba Oil is recommended for people with sensitive skin (including psoriasis and eczema) because of its gentle nature. Applying Jojoba Oil to compromised skin can help reduce flare-ups.
Jojoba Oil has anti-inflammatory properties that help to tame chaffing and chapping, reduce redness caused by drying, ease the effects of eczema and rosacea, and keep skin calm and comfortable. The Vitamin E and B-complex vitamins in the Jojoba Oil help in skin repair and damage control.
Jojoba Oil naturally deters microbes, helping to prevent the growth of bacteria on the skin. This property makes it useful for those with acne and also provides an added wound-healing benefit. Bonus: Jojoba Oil acts as a natural preservative.

🍯 Manuka Honey Extract
What makes this particular type of liquid gold so unique is its high concentration of Methylglyoxal (MGO), a compound that makes its wellness-enhancing properties a whole lot higher than the honey you get at the local farmer's market (which may contain trace amounts of MGO, but more likely has none at all). So, while all honey offers similar benefits to some degree, the manuka variety is the best in class.
Generally speaking, honey is one of the most tried and tested skincare products—legend is that Cleopatra used to bathe in the stuff, and that Catherine the Great mixed it with milk and slathered it on her face as a moisturizer. The beauty benefits of all types of honey run the gamut—it's hydrating, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and rich in antioxidants, to name a few—but manuka honey takes things to another level thanks to all that MGO.
With that in mind, there are a few different reasons why all honey—but especially manuka honey—is is worth adding to your skincare routine:
Honey's antibacterial properties are well documented, but research has shown that manuka honey is the most potent in this area. The higher a product's Unique Manuka Factor (or UMF, another grading system used for manuka honey), the better it is at fighting bacteria. When applied topically, it can help quash pimples by lowering your skin's pH to a point that makes it almost impossible for acne-causing bacteria to survive.
It's anti-inflammatory and healing
In addition to its antibacterial benefits, manuka honey's anti-inflammatory and skin-regeneration properties have made it a staple in both Eastern and Western medicine.

So, while all honey offers similar benefits to some degree, the manuka variety is the best in class.
For starters, it's antibacterial, which means that when ingested, it can help balance your gut microbiome by killing off bad bacteria. It's also rich in antioxidants, which can help boost immunity from the inside out and contains trace amounts of essential nutrients (namely iron, magnesium, copper, and zinc). Because of these benefits, manuka honey tends to be more expensive—the higher the MGO grade, the pricier it will be—but it's well worth the premium price, especially knowing that it can serve double duty as part of your beauty routine.

🍯It's antibacterial
Honey's antibacterial properties are well documented, but research has shown that manuka honey is the most potent in this area. The higher a product's Unique Manuka Factor (or UMF, another grading system used for manuka honey), the better it is at fighting bacteria. When applied topically, it can help quash pimples by lowering your skin's pH to a point that makes it almost impossible for acne-causing bacteria to survive.
🍯It's anti-inflammatory and healing
In addition to its antibacterial benefits, manuka honey's anti-inflammatory and skin-regeneration properties have made it a staple in both Eastern and Western medicine. One doctor friend of mine swears by it for treating bed sores, while another uses it to dress her patients' wounds. Outside of a medical setting, these benefits translate into complexion care by helping to calm skin and speed up scar healing.
🍯It's hydrating
"Honey is moisture-grabbing because it's a super-saturated solution, meaning the bees mix a lot of sugars into a little bit of water," Carla Marina Marchese, the founder and beekeeper behind Red Bee Honey, previously told Well+Good. "So it's always trying to grab water from the air to balance out the sugar. People use it for baked goods because it keeps them moist for longer." The same principle applies when you put it on your skin: It works as a humectant to attract moisture from the environment and can help make even the driest, reddest, flakiest, and most sensitive skin feel more hydrated.
Green Tea Extract
🌿Green tea extract is beneficial for the skin due to its potent antioxidant properties, which can help combat free radical damage, reduce inflammation, protect against UV rays, minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, soothe irritated skin, and potentially help manage acne breakouts, making it a valuable addition to anti-aging and acne-fighting skincare routines; the key active compound in green tea responsible for these benefits is Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG).
